Lou Willey, RN, CLNC
Resident Care Director
Born in Akron, OH
Joined Eden Terrace in 2007
My husband and I lived in Ohio and Michigan before relocating
our family to Spartanburg 21 years ago. Caring for my elderly
mother-in-law in our home for many years while raising our four
sons gave me the passion I have not only for the senior adult
but also for their family. As a registered nurse in the sixties
and early seventies, I worked in orthopedics and home health.
Then in the late eighties and nineties, I went into cardiac
nursing and management. For the last ten plus years, I returned
to my first love of senior adults—this time in the long-term
care setting. I count it a joy and a privilege to be a part
of the Eden Terrace family! |

Alford
Evergreen Program Director
Born in Tompkinsville, KY
Joined EdenTerrace in 2005
I relocated to SC in June 2004 due to my husband’s job.
I have enjoyed working with the senior population sine 1995
in KY. I am a licensed social worker. No two people experience
Alzheimer’s disease in the same way. Because of the disease's
unpredictable course, there is no way to predict what a caregiver's
role will involve. I enjoy assisting our residents and their
families through this challenging journey and making their stay
here at Eden Terrace a pleasurable one. |

Assistant Activity Director
Born in Rutherfordton, NC
Joined EdenTerrace in 2005
For many years, my children and I lived in the Middle East and
Europe which was a great adventure for all of us. My professional
career began in restaurant management after 15 years and completing
several management courses while living in New Jersey. I changed
careers and I moved into something more rewarding in 1995. I
started in an Independent Living Community as Dining Room Coordinator
and Theme Meal Planner. I knew then I had found my calling.
The resident’s smiles, laughter and instance gratification
each day was such a pleasure, I knew that I wanted to work in
activities. I now have 10 years experiences as an Activity Director
and look forward to enriching the quality of life for the resident’s
at Eden Terrace. To exceed our customers’ expectations
is my challenge. Coming on board with the team at Eden Terrace
is a welcomed career move. |
